When you contact us
If you send us an email, we process the information you provide, such as your name, email address, project details and correspondence, to respond to your enquiry, prepare a proposal and, where applicable, take steps towards a contract. Depending on the circumstances, the legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)) or our legitimate interest in responding to business correspondence (Article 6(1)(f)). We do not use enquiries for direct marketing without a separate lawful basis.
Hosting, technical logs and external resources
Our hosting provider may process technical information necessary to deliver and secure the website, including IP addresses and server access logs, subject to its configuration and retention policies. The website currently loads typefaces from Google Fonts, which can involve connections to Google's servers and the transfer of technical information. This should be reviewed before publication; locally hosted fonts are preferable for data minimisation.
Retention and recipients
We retain correspondence only for as long as reasonably necessary to handle your request and any resulting business relationship, and for longer where applicable legal record-keeping obligations require it.
